I found that some work better than others.
Then the same transition works well one time
then re-run it later, and it did not work as well.
Then it worked better again.

I have not created one in 3.1 yet though.


The long way issue;  MS had more time to do their
work on transitions.  I tend not to use them since
most time it takes away from the presentation slides.
If you have animation within the slide itself, it
could be good or bad for the presentation as well.
"Cute" animation in a business presentation may
hurt your message, since it may not look business-like.


So I rarely use animation any more.

I use Laptops
   Win XP/pro on an AMD 64 / 2 gig processor / 1.25 gig ram
   Vista/prem on a Pentium Dual-core / 2 gig processor / 2 gig ram
desktop
   Win2000/pro on a 2002 IBM Server with 2 gig processor / 1 gig ram

All work with version 3.0 or 3.1 really well.  Better than
MS office 2003 on any one of the three ever did.
