Hi Inbaraj
OpenOffice.org (OOo) will not run Excel macros as the dialects of basic
used by Microsoft and Sun are a little different.
It is possible to set OOo up to preserve the basic -
Tools-Options-Load/Save VBA properties, but it would be necessary to
edit the basic to conform to OOo usage
