Open Office Community,
I have version "1.1.1".
The machine I am using is encountering failures, and I am attempting to
transfer all my files to a new one. The old computer operates Windows XP
2002, which I had to update to "Service Pack 2" to get the Belkin Easy
Transfer Cable to operate. My new machine runs Vista. I want to get Open
Office into the new unit, but installing the latest versions is a 20 to 30
hour downlaod, which simply is not going to complete. Can I buy it by
mail-order? Or is there some way I can transfer my older version via the
transfer cable?
