Well truth is that last night I installed MS Visual Studio 2010 Beta1
under Win7, which included the .net 4 files. The fact that it would not
connect from Base really was a surprise to me.
OT - found another big bug with Win7 and OO.o - IE8 under Win7 and the
OO.o Active X control...very broken, it displays half of the client
window area, leaving a blank background for the lower half. (Maybe that
is just IE8 however and has nothing to do with Win7)
On the up side - Firefox 3 runs very well under the OS and the OO.o
integration there seems to be working just as well.
