Having to set it each time I type. The document looks like this:

Each time I go to type I have to change the font. I cannot change the
font globally as the form's font must remain as it is.
OK, how about this? First use Find and Replace to replace each
underscore character with a Tahoma blank with underscoring. If you use
"more options" while you're in the Replace field, then use the Format
option, you can set the font to Tahoma and the font effects to
single-line underscore. Then when you replace the blanks to type the
answer, it should be what you're after, I think.
