I have to take exception to the answer you gave earlier in this thread. I
think it needs some qualification.
My Situation:
I am a strict Linux user and the people that help modify this document are
all MS Word users.
I have a .odt document (news letter) that uses frames. I try to save it as a
.doc and the frames are total messed up in the word document. (using save as
.doc)
The clipart is moved to different locations,
example: clipart 1 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX clipart 2 becomes
clipart 1 clipart 2 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX where XXXXXX is
text
a frame with four columns losses the columns and I am not able to restore to
original setup of the columns.
where there were jpeg pictures the picture is moved in some cases and all the
text that is under them is gone.
I use openSUSE version of OOo. I have reported this as a bug.
OpenOffice_org-3.1.0.6-2.1
do you know of any work around?
