By far the most common mailing list problem is attempting to unsubscribe
from an address that is not subscribed. If you need to unsubscribe a
specific address, say "[email protected]", send a blank email to
[email protected].

To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected]
and be sure to reply to the unsubscribe response.
Just thought to pass along a personal and recent, experience.
Two OSs on the same machine XP / Ubuntu (dual boot)
Thunderbird under each
Each connected to a pop3 server at my host, used for the mailing lists
primarily.
All worked fine under either boot for a long time - then -
The hosting company offered imap - I switched one instance's account
Ubuntu/T'bird and not the other.
Now - maybe I made a mistake on some setting...in that the two no longer
matched...
I must have because then if I send email from XP/T'bird it went right
through as before..
Ubuntu/T'bird however - required 'moderation'
--alright, so I nixed the changes and returned to pop3 under both
OSs..and all is working again.
My point however is that if I had not realized what 'I' did...not sure I
would have figured out how to ever unsubscribe via the mail list bot.
Just an observation,
Drew
