I have thought about doing that; it seems that every time I upgrade (eg,
OO3 to OO3.1), I've had to do just that;
I would still be curious as to where this toolbar is coming from. There
must be something; I did try a registry scan; it's not there either.

I have already inquired in the Zotero forum without success; perhaps
someone here might have an idea or two. The issue essentially is that
after uninstalling an OpenOffice Zotero plugin for OpenOffice3.1,
winXP, the Zotero toolbar remains. I have gone and manually deleted
the folder in C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org
2.4\share\unopackages\cache\unopackages which uninstalling the
extension using the extension manager does not remove. I have also
checked C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application
Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\uno_packages". ; nothing there for Zotero.
I have down a search on "Zotero" in all directories (hidden, etc.)
and come up with nothing (in file name or in file contents). So where
is this toolbar coming from? ; It is even still listed in
view/toolbars. I assume it must be coming from some place or file
that does not have Zotero in it's filename?
I DO still have the Zotero Firefox plugin installed in Firefox; don't
want to uninstall that and lose my library. I have already poked
around in it's chrome directory but find no reference to OpenOffice;
I still use it in Word (sorry);
The point of all this is that I want to get rid of it in OpenOffice
so I can reinstall it clean.

You want to do a "full clean install" of OpenOffice.org?
If you really want to do that, then uninstall OOo. Then
go to the OOo folder in Program Files. Then delete that folder.
That gets rid of all associations and the add on references.
Restart your computer to clean out the memory.
Then reinstall OpenOffice.org. Add all of the add-ons you
want OOo to have. That should do it. OOo will only have
in its user reference/info that you give it with this install.
I had to do that once or twice to fix a printer problem.
I have done that with Win XP/pro and Vista Home Premium
It does work, but you have to do a lot of reinstalling of
the extensions and other add-ons. I have so many, that I keep
the install files in a folder to save them for the next
reinstall, either for fixing or for 3.0 (when it came out) and
for 3.2 - 3.9, then 4.0.
I hope it helps you.
It did for me.
