I have a table of six columns and four rows. I need the right four
columns to be right justified. I need the top row to be italic. And I
need to set the column widths differently for each row. The data starts
out as tab-separated text. I select the block of text, then turn on
Macro Record. The first step is to convert text to table, then I do the
rest of the formatting.

When I run the macro it creates the table OK, but the column widths are
not changed, the top row is not italic, and the four right columns are
still left justified. The upper left cell is right justified, and a
line of text two rows above the table (outside the table) has become
right justified.

This is 3.01 on Jaunty, from Synaptic. (Too many other problems with
the OOo version.)

Are there limitations on recording a macro to format a table?
