OpenOffice.org is an office package, comparable to Microsoft Office, that you download and install on your computer. You do not use the web site to create documents, as you can with Google Docs. You can create your essay in OpenOffice.org, but make sure you save in the required format. You can download OpenOffice.org from www.openoffice.org.
