A question from my company's network engineer...

We've been using OOo 1.1.5 in our medical software for several years, and it's served us well. I've been pushing for a move to the new version, now that 3.1 is released.

We need to test it internally, of course, before we incorporate it into our product. We want to install iyt on our server. It's a red Hat Enterprise Linux server release 5.3 (Tikanga - don't really know what that is, but I'll include it)

Any reason we can't download 3.1 and install on our server. my engineer (who's not an OO user) seems to think it will be a problem.

Thanks for any input.
David
