o  Are the RSQ() and LINEST() functions relevant?

Also:
o Double-click a chart (so you see the grey outline, not the eight green handles).
o  Right-click on a data point and select Insert Trend Line... .
o On the Type tab, under Equation, tick "Show equation" or "Show correlation coefficient (R^2)" as required.
