I work on Mac OS X 10.5.7, which must account for the absence of
ctrl-f in the panel.
If you are on a Mac, I imagine that what I said about Ctrl+F applies
to Command+F instead. Once the substitution of Command for Control
has been decided upon, perhaps OpenOffice avoids Control on the Mac
as there would be no equivalent for other operating systems. But I'm
guessing ...
