WinXP:
I have a two monitor setup with the 2nd monitor rotated 90 degrees so
I can see a whole page at a time. I opened the find box and it opened
on screen 1, at the top - that's fine.
When I clicked "more options" it moved up on the screen (and off
screen at the top) so all I can see is the lower 1/3 of the box. I
can't move it because the top bar is off screen.
This has persisted through closing OO and a reboot.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to move it back down ?
I think this is what you need (which is all about Windows rather than
OpenOffice, of course):
o Make sure that the Find window has focus. (Click in it with the
mouse to achieve this.)
o Hold down Alt and press the spacebar. This should bring up the
control menu - though you may not see it if it is also off the screen.
o Press "M" to select "Move". The cursor should change to a four-way
arrow. Now press the keyboard arrow keys repeatedly to move the
window position and bring the top of the window into view: an outline
shows the position the window will take. Once the outline shows that
the window will move to a suitable place, press Enter to locate the
window at that position. (You can cancel the process by pressing Esc
instead.)
I trust this helps.

Thou art a wonder.
Thank you for helping (even if it was all about winBlows, I still
couldn't use OO)
