Hi. I wonder if someone could help me out.

I just discovered a problem with OOo having trouble opening my default email client (thunderbird) when choosing to send the document as email. I have OOo 3.1 on XP. I've tried disabling my antivirus, but that doesn't work. TB is set as the default email client in windows control panel. the error message is  /Openoffice.org was unable to find a working email configuration.. Please
save this document locally instead and attach it from within you email

I don't recall having this problem before so I wonder what's wrong.
Thanks.

In the Windows registry, go to

               HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Mozilla Thunderbird

and set the DLLPath key to

              C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\mozMapi32_InUse.dll

(NOTE: use your actual path if it differs from the above).

Easier, go to control panel > internet options > set outlook as default mail client. Open Thunderbird and tell it to set itself as default. Problem solved. It just showed up after the last Tbird update and this seems to straighten it out, w/o messing with the registry.
