I cannot recall whether or not you got an answer, so I will repeat some
instructions for you:
1. File > Print
2. Printer properties is a button on the File > Print dialogue box.
3. Click it to set your properties.
That's the problem right there. I click the button, it stays depressed
for about one and a half seconds, then pops up again. The Properties
dialogue never opens. I can print brochures (pamphlets? no one agrees on
the meaning of these terms) now using the workaround that my wife
stumbled on yesterday (File > Page Preview > Print options page view >
Landscape > Print page view) so I'm okay now. However, it is interesting
that the Properties button does nothing (other than pop back up).
