If you are using Linux, then Kontact is the answer. You can "hook" to it
within the setup of OO. If you are unfortunately stuck with 'Bloze, then look
at getting Evolution, which Novell has ported to 'Bloze. You can "hook" to it
via OO's setup.

It seems that the effort is not completed yet. So nothing functional to
work with.
