I am using Open Office 3.1.0 (build 9399) Java version is: 1.6.0_15 I am using a PC with Vista
I am very, very new to Open Office and Base. I have completed a great Base tutorial by T.K. Boyd. I am having a perplexing problem with the column alignment of one of fields in the Form. The Field is called: PhonePriority in the Table, and PhPri in the Form. >From the Database/Tasks/ window. I select Form Right click on the form name, then click on edit. I am now in the Form design mode. Select the field by clickin on it, then right click on the field, this brings up a menu. Scroll down to Alignment, in the left pane. This is set to Default, change to Left. Close this window by clicking on the X in the upper-right of the menu window. Leave Design mode, the field is now in the Left alignment mode. Click of File/Save Click on File/close Back to Tasks window Click on Save, then close. Exit Open Office. Reenter Open Office, look at offending Form, problem is back; the Field is in Default mode, numbers are right aligned. In a nutshell, the changes are not sticking. What am I doing wrong? John.
