I am very, very new to Open Office and Base.

Question:
After I have created a Table, is there any way to Print out the table view, this would be most useful.

If I select Table, then right click of the Table name, it would be desirable to get a print out of the Table structure, field lengths and other variables.

John.

Hello John,

You would kind of expected such a function, wouldn't you - but there really is none built into Base.

However - There was created a report a while back that does such a task, for the standard HSLQdb embedded database. Thought it was uploaded that to the dba users mailing list - of course now that I want to actually reference that email it I can't find it with a search of the mail archives either.(lol) ..It's on my disk somewhere, I'll find and send it along in another email. It does require the SUN Report Builder extension BTW - you would need to install that if you wanted to try it.

off to look for the file....

Drew
