I've noticed some issues using the Impress slide sorter and would like
to verify if anyone else is seeing the same things before I log a formal
issue report.
I have a slide set (deck, if you must) which is large - close to 200
slides, used for a web marketing course.
1. Impossible to change "slide focus" in slide sorter
=====================================================
When I go into the Slide sorter, I find the screen focus jumping to the
slide last viewed in the "Normal" tab, even after I scroll to a
different area. As an example, I view slide 180 in the "Normal" view
tab. I change to "Slide Sorter" view. I scroll to the top of the slide
set. The focus will automatically jump back to slide 180 in the slide
sorter, making it impossible to reorganize slides at the beginning of
the set. The work-around is to scroll to the desired area, highlight a
slide, switch to the normal view and switch back to the sorter view.
I have verified this in each of the following versions
OOo_3.1.0rc2_20090427_LinuxX86-64_install_en-US.tar.gz
OOo_3.1.1rc2_20090820_LinuxX86-64_install_wJRE_en-US.tar.gz
OOo-Dev_DEV300_m55_LinuxX86-64_install_en-US.tar.gz
2. Impossible to select multiple slides in slide sorter
=======================================================
As of 3.1.1, I can no longer select multiple slides using the Shift key.
Just selecting one slide is hard, the focus wants to stay on the slide
last viewed in the normal view. I also see this behavior in the
development version.

3. Movement of multiple slides is very inexact

Even when I can select multiple slides, i.e. in version 3.1, I find it
very difficult to move the slides to their new location - the process is
very slow, probably due to the attempt to show the slide outlines which
was introduced awhile ago, in 3.0?
