You might be better off asking in the "Base" section within the OOo forum.
It's at <http://www.oooforum.org>. You need to subscribe (free) before
you can post questions or answers. Like this mail list it's run by
volunteers but tends to be more specialised.
Just a FYI - there is also another English language forum at
http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum
Thanks
Drew
Drew,
Please, what's the difference between the forum I cited and the one you
cited?
Arguably not a lot.
Both are run by volunteers.
oooforum is older - in fact the user.services forum was started by a
group of active users from oooforum.
Each requires that a person subscribe to post but not to search or browse.
oooforum is english only.
user.serives.openoffice.org now supports web forums in 9 languages.
(English, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Chinese, Japanese, Polish, Danish,
Vietnamese)
oooforum has more posts in the archives still
Both are still quite active
The user.s.oo.o English language forum is running at ~4000 posts per/mos
and is the most active.
oooforum is still quite active. (can't tell you what the post count is
however)
oooforum is still running phpBB 2.x (don't know of any plans for them to
upgrade)
user.s.oo.o is running the latest phpBB 3.x
(There are a number of different features between the two versions)
I am directly involved with the one and not the other.
One has a longer URL...*smile*
