Well I've never had any problems unsubscribing from these lists....
The OP of this thread had a true problem with the default action of
responding to the address in the confirmation message -- it includes an
equals sign, and is quite long, so apparently some mail clients can't
deal with it as an address. But there is an alternative described in the
confirmation message that moves the response address into the subject
line of a message to [email protected], and that apparently
worked (we haven't seen him since). Phyllis, on the other hand, is not
subscribed under the address she used to post here, and that's being
followed up on another thread. There definitely are some wrinkles that
can interfere with unsubscribing. What always puzzles me, though, is
that the unsubscribe is virtually identical to the subscribe, and they
somehow got through that OK, mostly quite recently.
