Here's another way to restart page numbering at a page other than the first. 1. Modify the First Page style (Format>Styles and Formatting (F11)) with no headers or footers. 2. Create/fill in your first page. 3. At the first line, blank or not, of the second page goto Format>Paragraph. Click on the Text Flow tab. In the Breaks section of the tab, click the Insert check box. In the drop down box directly across labeled Type, choose Page. In the Position drop down, select Before. Click the With Page Style check box. In the drop down directly across, select MasterStyle1. In the Page Number drop down, select 1. This procedure worked for me on my book manuscript to start page numbering after my cover page. Best regards.

I need help with headers, and cannot figure out page numbering. I can make
a running header with page numbers, but I do not want the page number to
show on the first page. I cannot figure out how to keep the page number
from printing on the first page.

Thanks in advance,
Steve
