So I downloaded the recommended app - 2.4 - and when I launch it launches the x11 - which is fine, but there is no window that comes up for the actual open office program - nothing - zilch. Am I missing a patch? Of course I have the latest operating software for mac the 10.5.4 - so it probably does not work for this version of open office.
