It apparently handles matrices ( http://www.gseis.ucla.edu/courses/ed231a1/notes/matr.html), SVD ( http://stat.ethz.ch/R-manual/R-patched/library/base/html/svd.html) and eigen (http://stat.ethz.ch/R-manual/R-patched/library/base/html/eigen.html).
