I am using OpenOffice 3.1.0 on a Solaris 10 FCS SPARC system.

When I start soffice it says an update to 3.1.1 is available. I click on
the download button and get the "Check for Updates" dialog. It tries to
start the download and then registers 0% download and states "couldn't
connect to server". Any idea what is wrong?

In the past I have always downloaded the full distribution. Then used
pkgrm to uninstall all components from the previous version. Then run the
install script to install the new version. I would love to be able to
simply update the current installation. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Thanks for any pointers.

Regards,
