So we have another important hint about what you are doing acutally.
- I guess, you copy HTML-tables out of web-pages.
- You want to use OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 (which is currently the "best"
version)
- and you run OOo on some Microsoft operating system (since you don't
mention that neither).
- Which browser? Internet Explorer may make another huge differerence
when it comes to tables in clipboards.
Then it could help very much if you would give us a link to a web-page
where you copy from, so we all see the data you try to process. If those
data are not accessible to everyone, you could paste a typical row of text.
