Is it a bad thing for the computer, when the "beach ball" appears and it
is locked that you need to "Force Quit" or shut the entire computer down by
holding the on/off button?
Any suggestions for MAINTENANCE and for KEEPING THIS COMPUTER AS PRIVATE
(INVISIBLE) AS POSSIBLE?
We are embarking on Global Humanitarian Relief (GHR) with ABC4All Mentors
in 106 countries but all the current activity focused on KENYA as the model
being created for the world (as seen in the links below).
Thanks for any suggestions if you can offer them. My technical skills on
the computer are "by the seat of my pants" and I just am transitioning from
PC which crashed with UMPTEEN VIRUSES no VIRUS SOFTWARD DETECTED.

Hello Burt,
I have the same model as you at home, and OOo (Dutch version) 3.1.1
works perfectly.

Burt,
Better keep this on the users list, since I have no solution to offer.
As I said, I have never seen the Save option greyed out.
Guy and Burt
The only time I have seen the "Save" greyed out is immediately after I
have loaded or saved a document. Once I made a change I could save it.
Burt
Could you please load this document and make a change to it and then see
if the Save is still greyed out.
Thanks
Rob
