Hello, • Where did you try to download from? -> www.openoffice.org • What kind of Mac do you have, a PowerPC or an Intel Mac. There's a different version of OOo for PPC and for Intel Mac • What version of the OS? Mac OS X 3, 4, 5 or 6? Recent OOo version work on Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard (4, 5 & 6) When you found the right download and the download is complete, you'll see a dmg file on your desktop or in your downloads folder. Double-click on it and it unpacks and a window opens with the OOo folder that you have to copy to your Programs (or Applications) folder. Now your installation is complete and you can start OOo from your Applications folder, or drag the icon to the Dock and start OOo from there. Does this solve your problem? -- Guy using dutch OOo Aqua 3.1.1 on a iMac Intel DualCore Snow Leopard and brazilian OOo Aqua 3.1.1 on an Intel MacBook Pro Leopard -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
