Hi all,
i am new to the list. I looked at the archives, and it says Archives Closed.
So a short question: Has anyone installed the Epson AL C1100 usb onto Ubuntu
9.04?
I have an error when I try to print. The printer was installed and shows up as ready.
When I print a test page, an error is given. Looking into it,
it says that pstoalc1100.sh has to be installed before the printer could be used.
Running /usr/local/bin/pstoalc1100.sh issues an error:
./pstoalc1100.sh
ERROR: ./pstoalc1100.sh: Un-known paper size
I used these installation procedures:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/68183 (#4) (Fixes Sysnatx errors)
http://avasys.jp/eng/ (Provides drivers, which were converted with alien to
.deb)
Installation with "Printers" and http://localhost:631
None work. All want the pstoalc1100.sh fixed.
Can anyone help with the pstoalc1100.sh file please?
TIA
:-)
Al
I think you need to send your question to a Ubuntu list/forum. This is a
group of users of OpenOffice.org who volunteer time to help each other.
OpenOffice.org is a free office suite that competes well with MS Office.
Follow links from www.openoffice.org for details.
