The mailing list you are writing to is just users of the software,
volunteering our time to help each other. We have no authority to
unsubscribe you, you have to do that yourself. As for the payment
reimbursement -- you'll have to take that up with whoever you paid.
OpenOffice.org is available for free from the www.openoffice.org
website. I don't know what problems you encountered, but they may be
related to your having gotten an unofficial (and perhaps incomplete
or corrupted) version of OOo.
To unsubscribe from this list, send a message from this account
([email protected]) to [email protected], or from any
account to [email protected]. The
subject and content don't matter, just the address you send to. You
should soon get an unsubscribe confirmation message to
[email protected] from [email protected] -- make sure that
message is not caught by any filters, your own or those of your ISP.
Follow the instructions in that message. Your subscription to the
list will be canceled, and you will get a "goodbye" message from the
same account.
The user ([email protected]) is not subscribed to this list. To
unsubscribe she will have to use the address that she receives this
email at.
Yes, sorry, I'd just noticed that myself.
Janet, the first thing you'll need to do before you can unsubscribe is
to determine the name of the account that is subscribed, and substitute
that for the [email protected] in the instructions above. If you don't
know the correct account to use, you can llok at the header of any
message that comes to you from the list and see what's at the end of the
Return-Path header.
