I did some more testing. I have more than one version of OO.o installed and have each one in a separate folder in my Applications folder.
When I use 320m5 installed in its subfolder, I have the problem you described.
If I move 320m5 out of the subfolder and into the applications folder, it works correctly to send documents as email.
If I move it back into a subfolder in Applications folder I can no longer send document as email.
I will add this to the bug report and reopen it later today when I have some time.
