I opened open office (3.1 for mac) writer on my mac os x 10.4.11
I just typed a "test message" and tried to save it on my desktop in
odt format and here is what i got (please see attachments picture9.png
and picture10.png in that order)

Most attachments do not get through this list's filters. Yours didn't.
Please either quote the error messages and any other information in the
text of your e-mail or upload a file to the web and provide a link to it.
