You're right - I hadn't realized that F9 did that! I had to look up
what F9 did and assumed it simply ran the calculate pass again.

It's certainly not quite what I was looking for. I wanted something
that would do the update without me having to remember to do it!
As I've now found what I consider to be a good solution, it's
academic, but it may prove useful at some later point.
