I have a fresh install of OpenSuse 11.1, which automatically installed OOo
3.0.0.9-2.7. (I cannot run OpenSuse 11.2 due to a conflict in Gnome.)
I want to upgrade to OOo 3.1.1.4. In Manage Software OOo is shown as
upgradable, but it offers the default package as OOo 3.0.0.9-2.81. Using the
dropdown button I see that 3.1.1.4 is available. I selected it and clicked on
the Apply button. This got me an error message:
OpenOffice.org Writer 3.1.1.4-1.1.x86_64 requires libsvxcorelx.so (64-bit), but
this requirement cannot be met.
I canceled the upgrade. I still want 3.1.1.4, but I decided I'd ask here before
I break something.
The file that YaST cannot find is part of OpenOffice_org-libs-core.
Check your repository setup. You should have the
OpenOffice.org:STABLE/openSUSE_11.1 repo available/configured in YaST:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/OpenOffice.org:/STABLE/openSUSE_11.1/
