Using the suggestion from http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html
I've sent blank messages to the below addresses:

Why??? I did not WANT to unsub that address, I just signed up with it
TODAY so that I could participate with a non BATV tagged address.

Then simply don't respond to the generated email.

I've just checked and the above address is subscribed to the users list - is
that correct?

By the way - I just realized that the ONLY list that doesn't work with
BATV tagged addresses is the users list. I was able to unsub from the
others with no problem.

Which is a little weird since they all use the same mail list manager !!!

Yes -- if ezmlm/CollabNet can cope with the BATV prefixing for discuss, why not for users? This is more than a "little" weird!

That's the one I wanted to unsub, but those links will not work, for
reasons I went into in detail earlier.

I've just checked and I cannot see any subscriptions to either list.

Right, his original subscription was made with the then-current prefix, and when he dug the subscribed address out of the Return-Path header he was able to use the indirect unsubscribe OK. I suspect we're going to be seeing more of this, unless somebody can figure out the list-specific problem and fix it.

Are you a moderator? If so, I do appreciate the attempt to help, but I
have sorted this all out (with Barbara's help) so, no more assistance
needed.

Apologies for any confusion. In previous mails. It seemed that you wish to
be unsubbed from both email address...

Reply to the list if you have any further queries.
