Hi gang,
I'm trying to plot the overlap of taking a given amount drug at a
given point, it is absorbed by the body and then has a half life
in the body of a given time. I would like this as a graphical
display but based on spreadsheet data.
Assume, for illustration purposes, that 10 mg is taken at 6 am.
and it takes 1 hour to reach maximum levels in the bloodstream,
it has a half life of 8 hours but another 10 mgs is taken 4 hours
after the first dose.
If we assume that the maximum dose level in the blood stream is 1
unit that would mean a maximum would be reached at 7 am and start
declining for the next 8 hours to .5 units. However, at 10 am,
another 10 mgs was taken and it reaches its maximum at 11 am and
then starts declining over the next 8 hours. Assume this pattern
repeats at 2 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm but then no dose is taken until
6 am the next day.
How would I create the spread sheet that would do this and then
display as a visual graph?
