Hi everyone,
currently we are working on improving printing for OOo in general. There
will be a print preview in the new print dialog. The difference between
print preview and page preview is, that all options will be considered,
e.g. for Draw:
* Showing the page name
* Respecting the "print color setting", e.g. grayscale
* Size (e.g. Tiled pages)
You find more information here:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/printerpullpages
Mockups and screenshots are shown here. And, below, there are also links
to blog postings by the development team:

And, the print dialog is resizable and so is the print preview. Another
good message - we cleaned up some workflows, so that e.g. the "Original
size" can be set without the annoying "Print Size Warning" popping up
all the time (if the printer has some print border limitations).
Currently we are planning to include the feature with OOo 3.3 - until
then there still a lot to do... :-)
Bye,
Christoph
