Hi
I put an issue

A text document .odt (maybe also other extensions) product by me with O.O. under
Windows (in my case XP) and reopen under Linux miss the orthographics
recognization and is not possible to change. I must select all and drop in a new
document.

Probably a mis-configuration of your Linux version (missing dictionary, language
not set...)

Please get help on the [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> 
support mailing list.

Also please always use a current version (3.1 is too old) when reporting here.
