I have a paper to write and no word >processor! From further research, it appears that a link is broken. Unfortunately, all the fixes mentioned in the articles I am reading refer to OOo 3.0 and 3.1, and my 3.1.1 has a somewhat different directory structure. Plus, I don't know how to fix the link. Here is some more information: [...@devil8]$ locate libuno_sal.so.3 /usr/lib64/openoffice.org/ure/lib/libuno_sal.so.3 In /opt/openoffice.org3/basis-link there is a link "ure-link." It has a big X on it, and in Nautilus > Properties it says: Type: link (broken) (inode/symlink) Link target: .../ure I'm pretty sure that broken link is the source of the problem. However, I don't know how to fix it. It also appears that lots of people install OOo from www.openoffice.org onto Fedora and it launches the first time, and then never again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
