I think the point of registering after an update is to give an indication
how many users are using just that version of OOo. If one has registered
once with Sun the procedure is painless, as after clicking «I want to
register», all one has to do is log in (at least that's the way I remember
the procedure, which I used recently to update to the 3.2.0 RC4)....
