the Danish government's decision that government authorities are to use ODF
in all state documents (those whose Danish is not quite up to snuff can make
use of Google Translate). Alas, given the cozy relations enjoyed by
Microsoft with the majority of our politicians here, it seems rather
unlikely that any such decision will be forthcoming in Sweden in the near
future....

There's another problem, too -- MS Office now has its own
non-interoperable way of "supporting" ODF, and will claim that it is the
only one with a fully ISO-compliant ODF implementation. That's the way
they plan to hold all the markets that demand ODF.
