I don't know either, but I found a solution to your problem after some experimenting, hopefully you will agree. I have the Swedish version so the exact words I mention here are probably slightly different (or entirely different in worst case): Right click in a bullet list Click Numbering/Bullet list Click the options tab For numbering, select none. In front of: ⚙ (If you have Linux and Gnome, you can probably type it by Ctrl+Shift+u <release keys> 2699 Enter) Behind: Character style: None Click OK.
