Hi, Kevin. I'm not involved in the development or marketing
organizations of OpenOffice.org -- like the others on this list, I'm
primarily just a happy user of the software. We're all free to
distribute it wherever we want, under the LGPL, without making any
special arrangements. There's also a documentation project for OOo that
you might want to consider joining. If you're a programmer, or have such
people available, the source code is a free download, and you could
either create a "fork" for your purposes or submit code for
consideration as part of the base. As others have noted, programmer
resources on this project tend to be pretty thoroughly used (or more!),
so you'd need a lot of support to claim any of them for your ideas;
that's where the people here might be able to help you to focus on what
to submit as an RFE. There's also an OOo for Kids group already out
there, you might be interested in getting with them
(wiki.ooo4kids.org/index.php/Main_Page will tell you more).

Hi Barbara!
Thank you for your reply,
However; my program idea is one in which I would like to gain some
kind of a partnership to distribute,
together with a Book which rapidly teaches children how to read, who
are visual learners such as Dyslexic's etc.
The main intervention strategies can be intergated into your programs,
which would give your programs a clear advantage over Microsoft etc.
If this is an area your company would be interested in please call me
on Kevin: (0044) 07956-131616..
Thanks for your time Barbara - have a nice day!
