Thanks for the suggestion, now does anyone know what the same preferences
file is called on Windows XP/SP3?
I have not been able to find anything like it so far...
And so... I'm on WinXP/SP3, and reboot daily and have restarted OO many
times since installing version 3.2

Did you try restarting OOo or reboot your computer (which OS?)?
Otherwise you might rename your OOo preferences file and restart OOo.
The place and name of the prefs file varies according to your
operating system (on Mac it's a plist file in Application Support).
