Hi List

My partner has reported a problem about Calc (OOo 3.1.0) to me which I am at a complete loss to explain. I don't know if this is specific to her hardware or with Calc itself. On a Debian Lenny machine, her OOo Calc seems to corrupt the numbers in the cells. For example, the following numbers in her Calc add up differently than on mine:

11.73 + 7 + 15.75 + 24.68 + 17.5 + 21.18 + 20.65 + 17.85 + 19.25 + 23.1 + 12.6 + 10.5 + 23.8

This should equate to 225.59 but on her machine this adds to 225.58, but on my Debian testing machine, this sums up as would be expected.

Not a biggie, but rolling errors can cause havoc, and anyway doesn't inspire confidence when dealing with finances, etc.

This is reminiscent of an issue Dotan raised last year, but seems less about rounding off numbers and more about miscalculating them. She has checked formatting and so on, and all is precisely as it is on my machine which calculates the numbers accurately.

Thanks for any help.
