Hi
We are about to use Open Office, for the first time whilst overseas for a few months, where it will be our only text/imaging programme. We are wanting to keep the kids informed about our travels and send Open Office documents, including photos, as attachments to emails.
In 'ms Word' - my usual day-to-day software - we can create a text doc ., add
images, and then compress that whole page for easy and small-size attachment to
an email.
I can't seem to do the same thing in Open Office.
I guess I have missed something..
Can anyone enlighten me?
Many thanks
Dave

I would recommend exporting as a pdf file. When doing that, you can set the compression to the desired value.

An important additional advantage is that essentially anyone can read the file, whether they have OpenOffice installed or not.
