Hello, In my previous email, which I am here forwarding to you, I wrote you about the problem with exporting as PDF.
Hereby, I would just like to announce you that when I tried to rename the .BIN files I had got as result of PDF-exporting, it was successful, i.e. I added manually .PDF to the name of the file, and I got PDF-format. But probably, it should have happened automatically? Best regards, Yora ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Yora Atanasova <[email protected]> Date: 9 March 2010 13:05 Subject: Problem with exporting as PDF To: [email protected] Hello, I like your OpenOffice.org very much, and am really grateful for the opportunity to use it free, especially as I could not afford buying such a software at the moment. However, I have been facing some problems while using OpenOffice.org recently, and would like to ask you for help. Now I have the 3.2 version of OpenOffice.org, and can not export files in PDF format. This option worked OK with the previous version. But now, when I click on "Export as PDF..." it is OK, untill I check the result and see the file has been saved in an unknown format, suposingly .BIN one. When I tried to open it I should always choose Adobe Reader myself, while beforehand it happened authomatically. Actually 3.2 version worked OK in the beginning, and I was able to export as PDF one or two files before starting to get this result. In the previous version, for which I don't exactly remember which number was it similar problem arose when I tried to transform ODF files in other formats such as RTF or DOC. If I remember correctly, at some point even the ODF files started being saved as BIN ones. That is why I installed the current version. Could you please help me to solve the problem?
