Fanboism is making totally ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims about one product vs another. Both of your claims are in that category. Properly installed and maintained, Windows is extremely reliable and stable - I know, I manage a small network (55+) of Windows machines... On the opposite end of the spectrum, improperly maintained Linux (or any other OS) workstations *can* be just as buggy and unstable as any other OS.
