You mean you can see a sigma sign in Excel? I cannot. How do I get it, please?

When using Calc, I had tonnes of errors because it has changed the ROW NUMBERS in calculations ...

All spreadsheets do that in some circumstances and not in others. You need just to take care about how you construct and fill or copy-and-paste your formulae.

... and when I found out that it adapt it to the new ROW, I had to change all back by hand.

No need to change anything by hand: just construct the right formula in the first place. Indeed, changing a lot of entries "by hand" is never a good idea: it is guaranteed to introduce errors.

Is there an option to stop this?

Yes: just get your formulae right. Let someone see your spreadsheet in order to see what you have done wrongly.

In my case, it is a VERY annoying feature-bug.

Create a sample spreadsheet showing the problem: either someone will find your error or else identify the bug and get it corrected. Neither can happen whilst you make imprecise and unsubstantiated claims. There are plenty of list subscribers who can help you.
